





Pessoal, existe um lago próximo a minha casa aqui em Perth que é muito tranquilo, bonito e que desde quando cheguei é o lugar que procuro para refletir um pouco e carregar as energias. Lembra o lago que temos au no Parque Ibirapuera porém muito maior, repleto de vegetação. Ao seu redor tem uma pista de corrida e outra de bike que por sinal, utilizo todos os dias para ir a escola de bike. Algumas vezes, corro ao redor deste lago, uma volta inteira é o equivalente a 1 hora andando ou 30 minutos correndo.Nos finais de semana, ele é tomado pelos moradores do bairro com suas bicicletas, esportistas, crianças ou mesmo quem quer relaxar um pouco e ler um bom livro.Observe a baixo algumas fotos que tiramos no local, fizemos um vídeo muito legal também mas não consigo publica-lo devido ao tamanho, é possível que futuramente tentarei publicar via Youtube.

Less than five kilometres from the city of Perth and situated alongside the Mitchell Freeway, it runs approximately north-west to south-east towards the Swan River and consists of 70 hectares of mainly open shallow water with an island of 1.3 hectares in the south-west corner. The 110 hectares of lake and the surrounding parklands are known as the Lake Monger Reserve.
The lake is presently used extensively for recreation as well as being a major tourist attraction with up to 12,000 visitors per week (Middle, 1988). Activities include bird watching and exercise.
A 3.5km paved walking/cycling track encircles the lake which takes about 30 minutes to traverse by foot.
